Sheryl Elizabeth Ware, lovingly known to her family as Sherry, passed away with her adorning daughters by her side on May 16, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born on September 25, 1952, in Wichita Falls, TX, to Lois Jean Harden and Robert Lee Harden Sr., and it was there that she spent the majority of her life. Sheryl was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Sheryl dedicated 47 years of her life to nursing, leaving an indelible impact on the lives of hundreds of people. Her commitment to caring for others was unmatched, and she took great pride in her profession. Sheryl's proudest accomplishment, however, was the care and love she showered upon her family, especially her daughters Shana Ware and Terran Watson. She cherished every moment spent with them and created lasting memories with her grandchildren, Taylor Brown, Jimmy (Jay) Brown, and Keyshawn Brown, who all fondly referred to her as “mommy”.

Beyond her work and family, Sheryl had a passion for gardening and used her creative decorating skills to transform her home into a beautiful sanctuary. Following her retirement in 2020, shopping became her "job" and a beloved pastime. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her great-grandchildren, and she never missed an opportunity to be there for a birthday, school or sporting event.

Sheryl’s impact on her community extended beyond her nursing career. She actively volunteered with Meals on Wheels, lending a helping hand to those in need

Sheryl is preceded in death by father Robert Lee Harden Sr., brother Robert Lee Harden Jr., and best friend Dorothy James.

Sheryl leaves to carry on her legacy, daughters, Shana Ware and Terran Watson; mother, Lois Jean Harden, brother, Shawn Harden, great-granddaughters, Kylee Johnson and Carmyn Wilson; great-grandsons, Corey (CJ) Johnson and Kairo Brown. She also leaves behind a remarkable circle of friends, including Rose Ingram-House, Pat Banks, and the Smith Family. Sheryl's presence in the lives of her brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many others was a true testament to the love and care she shared.

Sheryl Elizabeth Ware will be deeply missed. Her kind and compassionate nature, along with her unwavering dedication to her loved ones, will forever be remembered and live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
