Obituary For SHARON LYNORE CONNER TOWNSELL
Services Saturday, February 25,2023 11:00 AM St. John Baptist Church JaVoski Erwin, Pastor Traci Owens, Officiant
Burial Free Hope Cemetery Clarksville, TX
Sharon Lynore Conner Townsell began her impressionable journey into each of our lives on September 5, 1970. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, as the oldest daughter to Joyce Conner and Gomaze Nathaniel Beatty Jr. Sharon was a talkative and curious child often asking questions and finding ways to have unlimited adventures with her family. She learned what it meant to be a fierce advocate for herself at a young age. She had many talents and enjoyed playing clarinet in band and viola in orchestra until she graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1989. She later moved to Houston to attend Lone Star Community College to pursue her college education. She returned to Wichita Falls to the support of family and became inspired to further her education from Vernon College where she graduated obtaining a degree in nursing. She was blessed to find a caring and accepting church home at St. John Baptist Church as a young adult.
She later moved to California where she would begin her life's most fulfilling journey, starting a family and becoming a loving mother and wife. In California she spent endless hours supporting the growth and well being of her family. She worked as a crossing guard making connections with families in her community and receiving an award for distinguished service. She also achieved her Respiratory Therapy Degree from Napa Valley College. She enjoyed her most recent career working at BASS Medical Group California prior to her sunset. Sharon's life journey was fueled by determination and commitment which kept her bright spirit moving full force living with the chronic illness Sickle Cell Anemia. This allowed her to be wise beyond her years and live making the very most of each day. She was devoted to ensuring that family and friends were held close and knew how much she cared.
She transitioned on February 16, 2023 being called home to glory by angels and ancestors who summoned her to join them in everlasting joy and heavenly peace. She is now reunited with her father, Gomaze Nathaniel Beatty Jr., her grandparents, William Conner, Armarie Felder; Gomez Beatty, Mary Black and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Those left to cherish her giving spirit and lasting memories are husband, Elbert Townsell of Vacaville, CA; children, Triniti Townsell and Tsijon Townsell both of Vacaville, CA, and Nicole Townsell of Seattle, WA; mother Joyce Conner of Wichita Falls, TX,; siblings, Kamyon Conner(Rachel) of Denton, TX, Carrall Bell of Wichita Falls, TX, Lance Bell of Columbus, GA, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, friends, and chosen family. A special Thank You to Inez Wondeh, Dr. James Long and the medical staff at University of California San Francisco Medical Center and medical staff at Northbay Medical Center.

Heaven Couldn't Wait for you! With tears steaming down my face, it is with great sadness l express our deepest sympathy and condolences. Inez, Ruth, David, Bill and all the kids are extremely heartbroken over the passing of our dear friend/ little sister, Sharon. May she find great comfort in the arms of the angels. May Sharon be also greeted by our creator and family members who have preceded her in death. On a personal note, Elbert, Sharon and the kids have spent several years celebrating Thanksgiving with our family. Sharon made time to attend all other events we invited her to be a part of. For over 20 years we have been her friends. Ah, this I will miss immensely! We are sorry for not attending the home going celebration of our sister and friend, for we live in California and were unable to schedule our travels in time. To Miss. Joyce, thanks for showing up for Sharon in the way that only a mother could. Elbert, Kim, Nicole, Trinity Tsijon and Ms. Joyce, know that even in this very lonely hour, be reminded of the great hym which states, 'earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Sharon, Thanks for showing up in all of our lives. We were blessed to know you and call you "friend". Blessings, Inez

I met Sharon working in dietary at Bethania Hospital here in Wichita Falls, Texas. She had an encouraging word. Her smile is everything. When I went to Sacramento, CA a few years ago. She came to pick me up, so we went to visit at her home. We had a great time. I spoke with her a few months ago, and what I love is she would always encourage you. She is a bright light. Sending prayers, love, and condolences to her family.

Dear Sharon How difficult it is to comprehend that you have left is for a better place. It feels as if tomorrow I will wake and it will be another occasion where we all get together for festivities, perhaps another Thanksgiving for us all. But God had other plans for you and we will miss your evervescence, your smile, and your energy. At the same time, I am thankful to have experienced that joie de vivre that is Sharon. Please know that we love you and will miss you. And until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of His hand. Be well our friend.

I didn't know you personally, but I distinctly remember the day you stopped at my desk and told me how beautiful the pic of my daughter is. We spoke in passing, but I was able to tell that you had a magnetic warm spirit. May your spirit that I was able to see rest in the arms of our loving Saviour, and may your family have the peace that passes all understanding know that you ARE resting well.

Sharon was my confidant, counselor and dear friend, she was there for me morning , noon and night . She was a good mother and I learned sooo much from her . We had so many good times together ; I will miss her caring spirit and most of all her laughter whenever I needed it .She adored her family & spoke of them often. Tsijon and Trinity were both lucky to have her as their mother .I feel blessed to have known such a beautiful woman inside and out . Words alone cannot express the pain I feel . She is now our guardian angel and will remain in my heart forever . Love and friendship always ! Dayna DeLoatch-Martinez
