She received her primary education in Direct Texas and her secondary education in Paris Texas where she graduated from Gibbons High School in May 1946.
Princella accepted Christ at a young age and was a lifetime member of Antioch Baptist Church where she toiled faithfully under 8 different Pastors beginning with Pastor U.S. Cornelius in 1964 to the current Pastor Virgil Nesbit, Jr. Some of her affiliations over the years included the Women’s Mission Choir and Sanctuary Choir where she held the position of Sanctuary Choir Secretary. She was an active member of the Deborah Circle, Missionary Society, Sunday School Teacher, as well as serving on the Meals on Wheels committee until her health slowed her down. She was also a member of the Heroines of Jericho. She was presented the Antioch Baptist Church Member of the Year award in 2011.
After 37 years of employment as a unit clerk, she retired from Bethania Hospital. Princella was a ray of sunshine to everyone she encountered, sharing a brilliant smile, melodious laugh and tender hugs.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Velma Mosley, her loving husband in sickness and health of 32 years Lawrence S. McKenzie, and granddaughter Kinetter May.
