Marian Wesley, the daughter of the late Lillie Bell Blake-Robertson and James Blake, was born Mary Ann Blake on June 30, 1946 in Longview, Texas, where she spent her early childhood, moving to Fort Worth, Texas when she was 4 years old.

She began her education at G.W. Carver Elementary school and graduated from I.M. Terrell High School. She later returned to her East Texas roots, and attended Le Tourneau University and Kilgore College.

Marian worked as the Church Secretary at the Bethel Temple Church in Longview for nearly 10 years. She later moved back to Fort Worth and took a position as an Administrative Assistant for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, serving from September 1, 2008, until her retirement in 2020, at which time she moved from Fort Worth, TX to Wichita Falls, TX to be closer to her son.

After battling a long illness, Marian was called to rest on August 20, 2024.

Relatives preceding her in death are her parents, her brother (Jerry Blake) and her niece, (Chiquita Lynn Cooper - Mangrum).

Marian leaves behind to cherished memories with her son, Keith Blake; stepsons, David Wesley and Desmond Wesley; two sisters, Era Cooper and Evelyn Younger; and a daughter-in-law, Lesia Blake. Grandchildren, Lauren Blake, Brittney Brown, Shanda Brown, Dequavian Blake, Sabrien Mcconico, and Brianna Murkeldove; Great Grandchildren, Ashton Blake and Rhylie Brown. A host of nieces and nephews: Teresa Sydney, Cedric Younger, Jerry Blake 11, Caitlynn Mangrum, Gary Cooper, David Cooper, Bobby Cooper-Terry, Cameron Cooper, Kaila Cooper, Brooklyn Cooper, Addison Cooper,; and many beloved relatives and friends, including Sammy Brooks and Shunta McFadden.
