Flora was born to Remus and Georgia McKnight on November 15, 1938 in Mineola, TX. She gained her wings on February 21, 2025. She attended and graduated from Mineola Public Schools. After high school, her compassion for caring for others led her to be an LVN nurse. She was employed at North Texas State Hospital for over thirty-five years. Following retirement from the State Hospital, she moved to Ft. Worth, TX to be with her daughter and son.

She was married to John White, Sr. for over forty-one years. To this union, three children were born, John, Jr., Michael and Angela.

Flora accepted Christ at an early age. She was an active member of St. John Baptist Church where she was active in the Mission, Choir and Usher Board.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John White, Sr.; parents, Remus and Georgia McKnight; son, Michael White; brothers and sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memories, son, John E. White, Jr. and wife Marlo of DFW, TX; daughter, Angela White Charles of Ft. Worth, TX; grandsons, Isaiah L. Charles of DFW, TX and Brandon John White of DFW, TX; granddaughters, Breanna K Guither and husband Dylan of Euless, TX and Shelbi Martinez of Wichita Falls, TX; great granddaughter, Zella Bee Charles; great grandson Ryan Guither, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
