Diane Hill Luckett was born on August 1, 1954. In Fort Walton Florida. She spent all her early childhood years, a tight knit community of Fort Walton known as the quarters where everyone looked out for each other. It was due to that special love and caring that she developed a special affection for the elderly and young children.

Diane was the third daughter born to Andrew and Caroline (Johnson) Hill. She was part of a family of four girls; Leatha Jean Johnson (deceased), Daisy Lee Wiggins (Napoleon), Rosilyn Hill. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at her home church, Beulah First Baptist Church, where she sang in the youth and the young adult choir. Terry, Diane and their sons traveled the world living in and visiting many countries. To know Diane is to have laughed with her or shared kind words whether friend or stranger. She had a way of drawing people to her. She would often prepare meals for neighbors. She was her own “meals on wheels!" She became the “office mother” to the military co-workers of her husband. She loved everyone and it was very contagious to all who met her.

She leaves to morn her passing, her husband of 37 years Pastor Terry Luckett; two sons and one daughter, Markum C. Hill of Tennessee, Felix L. Sanders of Texas, and Kana M. Luckett of Georgia; five grandchildren Markese Hill, Kayla Hill, Jaylen Hill, Daquan Schenk, Janee Schenk. A very special friend, Nish Baker.

She touched so many hearts and lives. Amongst them being a special nephew, Gregory Johnson, and three special nieces, Hope Wiggins Jernigan, Aretha Valentine Brandy Valentine; niece, Deborah Harper, nephews, Teddy Johnson, Jamie Johnson (Priscilla), Stevie Howard, Leonard Mitchell (Corrine); A host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Diane was known to all God’s creatures including three dogs Mack, Warrior, Butch; three cats Ginger, Lily, Honey and a lot of little kids who knew her only as the lady with candy in her pocket.
