Artine Blue was born on January 27, 1930 to Abe Woods and Adela Gaffney in Clarksville, Texas. She had 12 brothers and sisters. She went to school in Acworth, Oklahoma. She moved to Wichita Falls in 1953. She married Robert Blue in 1950, and had 5 children. She met her 2nd mate, Sylvester Tole in 1960. Together they had three children. Artine was a member of Saint Matthew Baptist Church for over 60 years.
Artine was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Jr. and Leroy Blue.
She leaves to carry on her legacy one brother, Tommy Lee and one sister, Opal Lee Brown; her children, sons, Clifford Blue, Lawyer Blue, John Wayne (Mary) Blue, Sylvester” Lee” Blue; daughters, Celesta Butler and Edis Blue; grandchildren, Micheal, Marcus, Eric (Shayla), Dewayne (Christina), Marquise “Woo,” Katrina “Cierra,” Chris (Janice), Crystal, Clifford, Nathan, Leandra, Olivia, and Lawyer “Jabari;” twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

This were my beautiful cousin I remember when they moved to wichita falls texas we all lived in the oil mill quarters my mother willia mae taylor I think I were about five years older I cried because she were my mother first cousin they were Two brothers children well i am glad me & my sister got to talks to her few months before I heard she passed away on 20 of February rip cousin to all my cousins I know you all will missed your mother & grandmother love Maggie Garrett to Lawyer Clifford John wayne Edis & celetine cousin Maggie my condolences to cousin Tommy Lee & cousin opal lee brown may God comfort you in Jesus Name love again cousin Maggie willia may daughter

MRS.BLUE WAS SUCH A NICE PERSON I HAVE KNOWN HER FOR AWHILE SHE WAS BORN IN CLARKSVILLE TX AND RAISED UP WITH MY DAD SO SHE WILL TRULY BE MISSED SHE ALWAYS HAD A KIND WORD AND A BEAUTIFUL SMILE ON HER FACE REST EASY.
