Mrs. Anita Louise Kimbel was born July 28, 1939 in Clarksville, TX to Louise Oliver and Ray Latimer. She attended and graduated from Cheatham High School in Clarksville, TX. She moved to Wichita Falls in 1958. Shortly after moving to Wichita Falls she met the love of her live, Nelson Kimbel, to this union four daughters were born. Together they enjoyed 45 years of marriage. She joined Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Robert M. Castle where she was a faithful member until her health declined.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother where she was affectionately called “Nonie.”
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nelson Kimbel and brother, Carl Oliver.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four daughters, Lucinda Kimbel, Donna Jeffery (Lucious), Marcea Carter (Archer) all of Wichita Falls, Sonya Kimber of Arlington, TX; two stepsons, Tyrone Kimbel (Rhonda) and Nelson of Virginia; two brothers, James Oliver (Barbara) of Dayton, OH, Gavin Oliver of Oakland, CA; sister, Mary Mimms (James) of Electra, TX; four grandchildren, Jerone Christian (Shatoria), Adrian Kimbel (Nicole, Brendaria Walker (Emile), Cha’Quon Jeffery; 9 grandchildren, JaMarion Christian, Adriana Kimbel, Chris Alexander, TaJanea Kimbel, Jasmine Kimbel, Janea Christian, Nasir Walker, Messiah Kimbel, Emaris Walker; special God sons, Antonio Smith, Raymond White and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

This is her nephew her brother Gavin's Son my memory of my Aunt when I always came back home is that I always felt loved and welcome into her home always the last time I was there in 2010 she was the same loving and always smiling I will miss her tremendously as well My she rest in 🙏🏾🙏🏾heaven Love you Auntie ❤❤❤
