Alice Kennard was born on August 31, 1938 in Ladonia, TX. She attended Clark High School. Alice loved the Lord, her family and church family. She was a dedicated and faithful member of St. Matthew Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend. She was employed at Hampton Inn for many years. On Monday, June 6, 2022, Alice entered peacefully into her eternal rest with her parents, Langston and Gertie Doyle, husband, Odis Kennard, son, Lawrence Bowie and sister, Linda Cross. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter Pamela Mitchell; seven grandchildren, Shreen, Harold, Jr., Nicole, Joey, Jason, Tyrese and Jamie; great grandchildren; sisters, Opal Rhine, Gladys Walford and Patricia (Cecil) all of Sherman, TX; stepchildren, Otis Kennard, Ollie Kennard, and Dorothy Kennard; a host of other relatives and friends.
